North American Ministries

We are so excited to see the way that God is expanding the ministry into different states and provinces in Canada and the U.S.A.

An Update on Recent Training in North America

One participant in Canada sent us an email after the training that said this: "I’d like to thank you for the effort and work you  put into presenting this training, it is very appreciated. I started teaching Sunday school to fill a need in my church and I hated it. I spent every Sunday afternoon very unhappy  but then I attended this KidZ at Heart training. It opened my heart to a gift I didn’t know I had.  God has been showing me the joy of teaching in a different way. I just wanted you to know the impact you've had in my life. What you are doing has really blessed me."

In a recent discussion among the Directors of Training in North America about what God is doing close to us, we talked about how:

KidZ at Heart is a ministry that not only shares spiritual formation practices with training participants, but it is something that we are ourselves practicing together. As a result, we are changed personally! We aren't just telling others to do this, we are doing this. And it works - both for us and for the kids in our lives!! It is the real deal. Hearing from the kids in our homes and other ministries things like: "Are we going to talk (and listen) to God today?" "Let me share what the Lord told me through Scripture this morning."

We are reminded as the adults in the picture that at times we attempt to play the role of the Holy Spirit for the kids. But often, we just need to get out of the way because the Spirit is more than capable of speaking to these kids!

Your financial support will help cover our trainers’ costs as they travel to the locations where this training is needed. Also, we have faith-based staff members raising support to cover their own regular costs of living.

Prayer Requests

  • Pray that churches would recognize the value and need of having their volunteers trained

  • Pray that God would bring us into contact with leaders of under-served churches and give us wisdom on how best to help them and the families in their churches

  • Pray that the participants in our existing locations would be practicing what they are learning and that it would impact the children in their lives

  • Pray for more connections in both Canada and the U.S.A. so that we can see more children fall deeply in love with Jesus!
