My husband Jim and I have been married 51 years, and we have a daughter and son-in-Law and 3 grandchildren in California and a son and daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons in Maryland.

At a youth retreat called "Sharing God's Secret" on Catalina Island I learned "The mystery that has been hidden for the ages is now disclosed to God's people - Christ in you, the hope of glory" Colossians 1:26-27.  I joined God's eternal family and have always had a strong sense that Emmanuel-God With Me is always by my side.

My career path was in Early Childhood Education from 1971-2008. During that time, I also wrote Christian Education curriculum for Group Publishing. My husband is a pastor so I have also served as Women's Ministry Director and taught children in Sunday School. After he retired, we served as Pastors to Missionaries traveling to 21 countries in 5 years.

I have served on KidZ at Heart staff since 2009. I met Gordon West when we worked on a project for Group Publishing. When he learned I retired from teaching he invited me to join KidZ Staff. I have led teams to Cameroon, Africa to train children's ministry leaders. I currently serve KidZ by coordinating training events in the U.S.

I have always practiced a daily time of reading God's Word and praying. In recent years I have incorporated a practice called Listening Prayer which has enriched my time with God. Worship and Celebration also touch my heart in meaningful ways, and I love to serve God in ministry.

The KidZ training ministry has had an amazing impact globally with new leaders and training opportunities in countries we never imagined we could access. It's exciting to join our monthly online staff meeting with leaders from all over the world.  We are excited to reach underserved Children's Ministry leaders in North America and equip them to help children fall deeply in love with Jesus.
