I have been Married to Alex Portillo for 32 years, and we have 3 "kids" Daniel 30, Juan Marcelo 27 and Nina 26.

Thank God, I grew up surrounded by a solid Christian family.  My parents have been in leadership ever since I remember. My mom has always been keen about teaching her kids and grandchildren The Scriptures, but at age 11 I really felt I needed this personal connection with My Savior.  A few months later, my Sunday School teacher asked me to help her as her assistant. That was the beginning serving God teaching The Scriptures. 

Later, I attended Asbury University in KY to get a Communication and Christian Education degree.

In 2000 I started, along with several of my friends, an extracurricular Bible Club at the British School in El Salvador. Around 120 children were attending weekly and were asking loads of questions, this led me to attend Bethel Bible Institute from the Assemblies of God. I also felt the need to acquire new teaching techniques and abilities, my sister Rocio shared with me about KidZ At Heart in 2009. The Modules were being taught and I got hooked! At first, I got involved as a translator from English to Spanish. Later, I asked permission to teach these fabulous modules at the Universidad Evangelica, this was 2014. Praise God since then, I have seen the Lord pouring blessings, equipping teachers and leaders so the children they teach fall deeply in love with Jesus!

Lord willing we can expand to Panama and all South American countries along with the Caribbean. There are doors that have opened in many different countries. We need prayers and support.
